I don’t understand why don’t Americans like carl barks and don rosa?
Have you read the American version of those comics? It is the only media I prefer in translated form, because the American lettering is extremely annoying. The grammar is weird, like spelling it “Unca Donald” instead of “uncle”, and every sentence has one or two words in bold. All the bold words feel like an aggressive way of showing emphasis which is so exaggerated that I find it exhausting to read.
As a contrast, Norwegian Donald Duck comics were advertised from day 1 as “translated by a teacher”, and there has always been an emphasis on good grammar. And most importantly, no bold words all over the place! We can figure out where to put the emphasis ourselves, thank you very much.

I mean the guy who made Astro Boy based all of his character designs off the Donald Duck comics, and manga is the most popular form of comics in North America, so in conclusion, everydays a hurricane, here in america.
