Yeah! Thing is, though, that then I wouldn’t be able to charge my phone while listening from my headphones…
I have an idea! Why don’t companies just add a second usb-c port, so we can plug this adapter into one of the two, and charge from the second one? That’d be so convenient!
If you really want to use wired headphones with your phone, why not have one of these permanently connected to the end of the cable?

I have one so I can charge my phone overnight and also connect to a bedside speaker by cable.
Ooh awesome! The right-hand side looked perfect until I dug a bit and found this form factor

Or you could use both to charge faster B)
Not entirely how electricity works, but I guess? Maybe for unstable chargers to be more consistent?
It was just a joke :^)
I did not catch that, sorry.
Shouldn’t need one as all new phones besides foldables have the space to fit a DAC and headphone jack.
My new phone I preordered arriving hopefully in December will have a headphone jack once again. Can’t wait for the clicks communicator.
These have saved my life but it’s a PITA that you can’t charge and listen at the same time :/
There are also split adapters that have both a 3,5mm and a USB-C charging port.

Not pocket friendly. In my experience, the stress on the port will wear it out.
USBC audio sucks (RIP Gordon)
