I really prefer my wireless anyway. I used to go through a pair of headphobes every month, because the cables got fucked from being tangled in my pocket. Now I’ve had the same pair of buds for 5 years, with much better sound quality than what I had before
There are most certainly not “plenty of options”, and the ones with jacks are mostly otherwise-terrible and/or budget devices. It used to be that jacks were a given on any device.

I agree. Wireless buds are great. As are wired. Back in the day no one forced you to choose one.
You can just buy a phone with a headphone jack if you need that. There are plenty options and nobody is forcing you to buy a device without one.
