Be like me and use notepad!
That’s a good idea. I have been hearing a lot of meowing at night, so I know they’re out there.
“What an annoying laugh, especially for such an unfunny joke.”
I did, but they were mean, so I bought a house on my own. I am now currently waiting on the cat distribution system to choose me.
I just have sudoku and Pokémon for the littles and an e-reader. I guess I use mine like a mini laptop/tool.
Recently there was a rumor spreading around my work that the earth was about to lose gravity for seven seconds and they should stay home to be safe.
Just walked up to the door like it belonged, gave up and left. Hope to see it in person so I can try to pet.
Little stray kitty cat came to visit about 4AM and set off my alarms. Otherwise no notes.

Have I done it? Yes. Do I regret it? Also yes. Did I once decline my very fit neighbors offer to help move a large item because my brain said “don’t bother them they are so nice”….unfortunately. I am getting older and stating to come around to the idea of accepting assistance, so I paid someone to move some of my heavy furniture this time.
My first experience with creepy tech was those talking furby toys.
Very boomer/wife bad/facebook meme. Surprised to see it here.
Yeah it wouldn’t be a bad response at all in a healthy relationship context. I wish all partners could give each other the same respect. I like the response, just not the frame.
I’ve had a partner criticize my video game time before. They didn’t want to spend more time with me though, they just didn’t like that I was talking to other people online. I’ve also had a partner spend 90% of their free time online and ignore our relationship. What I find most interesting about the meme however is that any time it comes up it’s always the female partner giving the ultimatum, and I do not think that is a coincidence, I think it’s shaping a perception, and rage bait.
Yeah definitely the elephant in the room when this comes up. Women didn’t have a choice and they were impregnated over and over even if it killed them.

I don’t get punished for not taking sick days. I just have to double up on missed billing stuff the next day usually. So it’s like it’s own punishment.

Between undergraduate and postgraduate I went about 70k in. But most of it was UConn being too expensive. I don’t think I could have learned this depth of knowledge on the internet. Just the very basics, but not the minutiae, which are very important at my level. The degree included access to fieldwork and clinical trial stuff I couldn’t do otherwise. What I will say is that if I had not been committed as a student to my education, it wouldn’t have been the same outcome.
Excuse me, but where is “cool beans?”
The house I’m moving in to doesn’t have AC. Which will be fun during the next few weeks.
I think it comes from every possible direction. Family when young with pressure to dress a certain way or present a certain way. Media showing a certain look depending on what is fashionable. Constant beauty and makeup stuff. Peers pick it up and model. People expect it so much that if you even skip one thing you may hear “wow you look tired today”. And these beauty standards are socially enforced and expected behaviors. It’s everywhere from everyone all the time.
I get 120 and wfh but I think I’ve reached privileged status.
