Current evidence says otherwise in regards to who the ‘weaker’ candidate is, but that doesn’t mean the fearmongering won’t activate enough R voters in the general to out vote the progressive’s momentum.
Echelon Insights suggested that Republican-leaning voters may have helped Stevens in the Detroit metro area.
I guess we will see. :)

The tightness of Abdul’s primary kinda has me worried. Apparently, there was an amount of Republicans who signed into the open Democratic primary to try to tank his chances. I don’t think we have the numbers for how many yet, but it will be concerning if it is only a small portion.
A bunch of interviews have shown that a lot of the people who voted for Trump just wanted a change candidate, who ended up doing the opposite of delivering. Hopefully those people will come out swinging for change candidates of the opposite flavor.
I don’t think all liberals are enemies, but I do acknowledge the reality that certain Democratic liberals in power are attacking progressives and lending crediance to right-wing attacks.

On the electoral side, people are starting to not take it… Anymore.
Just gotta hope it is enough to outweigh the fear mongering of the right and liberals.

I stop when it is clear the other person is arguing in bad faith.

I said current evidence of which candidate the Republicans were potentially supporting. Is that source not evidence? Is it just fake news?
