The number of people that think things from Dante’s Inferno and Paradise Lost are from the Bible is shockingly large.

Just goes to show how few actually read anything from the various flavors of Bible. So much effort to bring those words to a form the average person could read, instead of relying on Clergy to interpret for them… and no one does it.

One interpretation is that the denizens of hell actually punish themselves. They know their actions were evil and sent them there, and that they deserve the punishment, so they receive the punishment they think they deserve.

I haven’t had to update my adblocker in over a year. I installed Ublock and sometimes I just forget it exists. I downloaded Smarttube on my Firestick and got it working in 5 minutes. Revanced on my phone took some fiddling, maybe a half hour or so, and now ad free on there too.

Imagine being so lazy that sending Google $15 a month instead of taking 30 minutes of your time to accomplish the same result.

Wow, saying I’m lazy… yet you didn’t read the entire sentence you are responding to. Ublock is great… on a PC… but that doesn’t work on TVs. Network-level blockers like Pihole don’t work when at a friend’s place, etc. You know, the other half of my previous comment you ignored because your answers weren’t relevant. I have things Ublock, Pihole, and Tailscale setup on my network. That’s not always readily available on EVERY device that I might use EVERYWHERE. But you know what is? My YT account not having to deal with it in the first place.

So does patreon, or whatever subscription service they use. Google pays them pennies for the dollars they keep from you. Not to mention sponsor skips still trigger their ad revenue, so even though you skip the ad block, they still get money. Neat, huh?

I’m not spending $5+ a month each for 30 different content creators. But I will spend less than $20 so that my view pays them 4-5x what a regular one does, in addition to the other perks. It’s almost like you, again , didn’t actually read what you’re responding to.

QoBuz is just as good and you’re not feeding money into dystoptia.

Let me get right on using whatever the fuck random bullshit some dude online is suggesting and that I’ll have to resea rch whether it’s supported on EVERY device I use, when YT Music definitely is already.

Just admit you’re okay sending money to the problem instead of being a solution.

I’ll admit that I pay for a service that gives me features that I use, at a price I can justify, given what I use. You on the other hand just seem like an insufferable individual that apparently needs to be condescending on the internet so you can feel superior. You do you, I’ll do me.

I’ve found the jump ahead button to skip the promo spots can be hit or miss. It usually pops up if I press skip forward once though. Whatever the button that jumps a few seconds ahead is, depending on the device I’m using.

Same here. I still have issues with interruptions, weird loading issues, etc. even on my desktop where it’s a wired gigabit+ connection and plenty powerful for a basic video stream. Not sure if those are just Youtube in general, if it’s Youtube deliberately breaking randomly because I’m not using Chrome, or just other issues like Comcast being a piece of crap randomly.

I pay for premium for a few reasons:

1. Not having to futz with adblock on every different device I try to use, especially oddball devices like TVs or when using devices that aren’t mine.
2. Premium views pay creators several times more than regular views.
3. Youtube Music streaming included instead of having to pay for a separate subscription like Spotify.
