you don’t pay for more than you use. I prepay $100 on my credit card, use $58 and I’m charged $58, the $100 was a security hold and is the most you can get.

Am Gen x, 30 years ago I assumed that when the old boomers died off things would be better as we took over. Now Im left watching horrified as Gen X just helps make it even worse and I hear Gen Z repeating the same inane missives my gen did at an early age.

This is good news, it shows the laws of nature do apply to humans and scientists like James Hansen etal were right and Physics as we know it applies

Humanity is the problem (for most humans and for most species) , climate change is the solution, we’re literally killing species off so fast it’s labeled the sixth mass extinction.

Being self reliant is mostly impossible if you cant also hunt and forage No ones growing their own wheat for example to make their own bread, let alone collecting the salt they need as well.

we lived off grid for a decade with a massive garden, chickens, ducks, heaps of fruit trees, made our own compost etc
